PepsiCo: The Story of Driftwell (A Beverage Like No Other)

Daniel Frumhoff_Driftwell 10.jpg

PepsiCo reports that 55% of Americans experience high stress throughout the day, while 45% reported lying awake at night because of stress. 21% said they feel more stress when they can't sleep. As PepsiCo summarizes, "Stress is one of the main reasons people aren't sleeping well; and yet, poor sleep leads to even more stress!"

The idea behind Driftwell was 'to promote relaxation and de-stress, helping people get into the right end of day mindset'. Driftwell is an enhanced still water beverage with magnesium and L-theanine. The 'spa inspired' flavor contains a 'subtle and soothing hint of blackberry and lavender flavors'. Driftwell is also the fastest beverage brand ever to market from PepsiCo. During the launch of this brand, I helped develop motion design assets and principles, wrote/designed motion brand guidelines, collaborated with digital partner agencies, and was on-set with Suzanne Saroff for this launch campaign photoshoot.
