Typescapes: MFA Thesis Exhibition
It all began with ARCHITECTURE...
Typescapes is a series of typographic explorations inspired by architectural landscapes, plans, elevations, grids, light, and shadow. Grounded in architecture, each study has been developed into a typeface that embodies the formal qualities of a specific building. This project includes all original typeface designs and typography created at the Maryland Institute College of Art for my MFA Thesis in Graphic Design. Mentors: Ellen Lupton, Jennifer Cole Phillips, and Jason Mathews Gottlieb.
