Stanford d.school: Graduation Ceremony ’23

The Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford (d.school) hosted its first annual Design Diploma Ceremony and celebrated the Class of 2023. Bold wayfinding banners guided guests while a colorful stage banner served as a vibrant backdrop for the graduates and faculty. Building upon the existing yearbook cover and theme, design elements seamlessly transitioned from the printed page to a celebratory space and vertical drape. Overlapping joyful colors represent the intersections of a lot of different people (educators, students, and community) with different ideas coming together. Together with fellow d.schoolers, we conceptualized and created impactful visuals for every touchpoint of the graduation experience.
